Join the Hershey Symphony Orchestra for a season filled with music for everyone. From favorite Disney tunes, to songs from the Wild West, holiday classics, romantic classics and a salute to America with the best of Gershwin – the Orchestra will take patrons on a musical journey over the next year. Enjoy a magical afternoon or evening as the Hershey Symphony Orchestra presents “The Magical Music of Disney” on September 26 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. You’ll listen to favorites from The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and more, all coordinated with video selections from these beloved movies. Then, we’ll head to the Wild West on October 30 at 8 p.m. and usher in Halloween weekend with pieces including John Williams’ “Overture to the Cowboys” and Aaron Copeland’s “Suite from Billy the Kid.”

Make the Symphony a part of your holiday tradition with our Holiday Spectacular on December 5 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. This concert always sells out so we’ve added an extra performance to make sure everyone is in the holiday spirit. The concert includes seasonal favorites, an audience sing-a-long and a visit from a special man in a red suit.

On February 19, 2016, bring someone to hold close as we share intimate classics at “Warm & Snuggly,” which includes Mozart’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 17 in G Major. This work will feature Gretchen Dekker on piano.

Internationally-renowned Mezzo-Soprano Gwendolyn Bowers returns to perform with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra on April 8, 2016 at 8 p.m. for “Symphonic Blockbusters.” The concert will include selections from Carmen and Samson et Dalila.

Later that month, celebrate America with the best of George and Ira Gershwin’s music on April 23, 2016 at 8 p.m. Enjoy the Hershey Symphony Orchestra, Hershey Big Band and vocalists. As a special treat, the group will perform Rhapsody in Blue, featuring Josh Tindall on piano.

We end the season with our annual “Shall we Dance?” Benefit Gala, held at the Hershey Lodge. This black-tie optional event features dinner, an auction and dancing to the Orchestra and Big Band.
